Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has announced a minor cabinet reshuffle, where three commissioners in the state were relieved of their duties.

The governor’s  Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Uwakwe Abugu, who disclosed this Thursday in a statement gave the names of the affected commissioners as Dr. Godwin Udeuhele (Commissioner for Information), Mr. Charles Ndukwe (Commissioner for Youth and Sport) and Barrister Smart Ogbe (Commissioner for Inter-Governmental Affairs).

According to Abugu, the governor has also appointed and sworn-in two new commissioners.

“The new commissioners sworn-in during the meeting of the State Executive Council include Mr Ogbuagu Anikwe who now takes charge of Information and Mr. Joseph Udedi who was deployed to the Ministry of Youth and Sport.

“The changes came as a first step in the move by Governor Ugwuanyi to reshape his cabinet in order to further enhance effective delivery of good governance to the people of Enugu State,” he said.
