A renowned wealthy Northern-based farmer who recently relocated his farming business to his community in Mbu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, Alhaji Sani Friday Nnaji, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for promoting peace, unity and national integration among Nigerians resident in the state and beyond irrespective of religious and ethnic differences.

Speaking when Gov. Ugwuanyi visited him and the Christian and Muslim communities in his country home in Mbu to celebrate Christmas and New Year, yesterday, Alhaji Sani Nnaji disclosed that it was because of the governor’s belief in God and his penchant for peace and unity that “both Christians and Muslims gathered here to eat together”.

The wealthy farmer who pointed out that what Gov. Ugwuanyi has done for his community, Isi-Uzo LGA and Enugu State is immeasurable, stressed: “The good things we are enjoying today is because of your good heart and quality leadership”.

Alhaji Nnaji expressed gratitude to Gov. Ugwuanyi for providing the enabling atmosphere for businesses to thrive in Enugu State, adding that the governor has supported his farming business in the state tremendously.

“Your Excellency has brought a lot of goodies to Isi-Uzo LGA especially in Mbu. This is the third time a governor will visit Mbu in one year. We have always celebrated the Christmas and New Year with you. My people in Ugwualama Mbu are grateful for the good things you have done for us”, he added.

The farmer had revealed that it was because of the enduring peace and security entrenched in Enugu State by Gov. Ugwuanyi as well as the enabling business environment that he relocated most of his farming businesses from the Northern part of Nigeria to his community, Mbu in Isi-Uzo LGA of the state.
