The UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Bauchi field office, on Tuesday, commenced a five-day training for its programme coordinators in Gombe State on how to fulfill the rights of humanity.

Malam Danjuma Al-Amin, the Monitoring and Evaluation officer, UNICEF Bauchi field office, said that the training would equip the participants with skills to effectively utilise limited resources at their disposal.

He said that the fund’s programme coordinators would learn more ways to tackle challenges in the areas of health, nutrition,water and sanitation and education, a well as learn different ways to achieve better results.

Al-amin added that the training was available online and the link would be made available to the participants to deepen their knowledge.

He advised the programme coordinators to take advantage of the online training to acquire additional skills and earn certificates, and advised them to be attentive during training sessions to achieve the purpose of the course.

Malam Suleiman Mamman, the UNFPA Coordinator, Nutrition State Primary Health Care Development Agency, said that the training was timely.

He charged the participants to utilise the skills acquired at the training to improve their service delivery.
