Ushbebe, Kenny Blaq, Acapella, Akpororo and other stand-up comedians on Monday thrilled fans at the Chronicles of Ushbebe Live, held at Eko Hotel Conventional Centre in Lagos.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the turnout at the event was large as revelers enjoyed thrilling performances by comedians who dished out hilarious jokes to the audience.

Also, there were musical performances by Falz, Patoranking, Mayorkun, Timaya and Reekado Banks.

Others that performed include: Johnny Drille, Mr Eazi, Duncan Mighty amongst others.

Kenny Sumi, a student, said that he was excited to be part of  the event and commended the organisers for the orderliness.

“I have never had the opportunity to see any of these artists perform live so I’m supper excited about this.

“I have always been a fan of most of these comedians and I’m glad to finally have the opportunity to see them live,” he said.

Mr Bimbo Olorunfemi, who attended the event in company with his family, said that he was thrilled with the various performances by the artists.

“The performances have been wonderful as I have been laughing along with my wife and children for hours without stopping.

“I’m glad to witness this opportunity and I would definitely be around for the next edition,” he said.

Miss Seye Adebisi commended the performances of the artistes.

“The amazing part of the performances of most of the artists is that they performed live and that was super amazing.

“Patoranking was awesome so was Falz and others. I have been having goose bumps and I cannot get over this,” she said.

Also, Miss Bisola Akano, expressed her pleasures with the coordination of the event.

“I’m really impressed with the coordination of the show as the place is not choked up and this is due to the proper planning by the organisers.

“This is my first time coming here and it has left a good impression on me. I’m definitely coming for the next edition,” she said.

NAN reports that this is the 12th edition of Chronicles of Ushbebe, which is usually hosted by Justice Nuagbe, popularly known as Ushbebe.

This year’s edition with the theme; “The Election Edition” coincides with the postponed general elections across the country.
