Veteran actor, Adeshina Adesanya, popularly known as Pastor Ajidara in the film industry, is dead.
He passed away in the early hours of yesterday. The actor was down with kidney failure and his colleagues in the industry had started raising money for his treatment.
Ajidara’s death was announced a few minutes after he passed away by actor Yomi Fash-Lanso on his Twitter handle, officalyomifashlanso. Fash-Lanso and another actor, Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr. Latin, had launched a fundraising campaign for the deceased, at the weekend. “News just filtered in now that Adeshina Adesanya, Pastor Ajidara, is dead. We say thank you so much to all of you who sent in money, and for your get-well wishes; we say thank you. He died a few minutes ago,” Fash-Lanso said in the tweet.
Adesanya was 63 years old.
