Virgin Atlantic Airways has pledged  to support the socio-economic growth of Nigeria by committing more funds to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in the country.
Speaking with some journalists in Lagos recently, Head of Virgin Atlantic Nigeria,  Mr. Samuel Lindfield, disclosed that the airline plans to embark on a further significant fleet renewal program with the introduction of the Air Bus 350-1000 aircraft as from early 2019. He said the airline has also introduced a number of initiatives geared at boosting the travel experience of Nigerian passengers on the Lagos – London route.
These include inflight Wi-Fi connectivity, a revamped Upper Class food and beverage menu, free chilled bottles of water on arrival and free luggage trolleys for all passengers arriving Lagos on Virgin Atlantic flight.      Lindfield added, “With many analysts now projecting Nigeria’s population to reach 500m by 2050, we see Nigeria as a land of immense opportunity. A growing population will create new opportunities for domestic and international business.
