Edo State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has called on the citizens to remain thankful and more consistent in their prayers to God, saying that the state experienced flooding, inflation and other challenges of life, yet it survived them all.

He stated this in a 12 Hours Praise Service programme put together by the state government in collaboration with the Michael Ochonogor Praise Team, held in Benin City.

Mr. Obaseki said the state has had its fair share of the bad times but was able to overcome them.

Obaseki said the state will not relent in its prayers but will continue to pray so that it can surmount whatever challenges it might come across in the future.

We have had challenges. We have had crisis. We had
disasters, flooding and inflation but we survived.

“And so we have every reason to thank God for the miracle of been here today and I want to encourage you to continue to worship, continue your praise.
