Wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Oluremi Tinubu has pledged to collaborate with the wife of the party’s vice presidential candidate, Nana Shettima, to support their husbands for charity and youths empowerment if elected. 

Oluremi made the pledge in Maiduguri, Borno State yesterday at the launch of the party’s women campaign rally for Northeast zone. 

“We realised the women in the Northeast need a lot of support. Hajiya Nana Shettima is doing a lot in charity work. We will work together to support our husbands for charity to our women and youth empowerment, and job creation for our youths,” she said. 

She commended the youths and women for their massive turn out. She said the Northeast requires more attention, urging people to come out in February to vote for APC in all elections.

Borno State Governor, Babagana  Zulum, commended Senator Oluremi Tinubu for what she called her tenacity and passion for the APC campaigns. 

“We have noticed your passion, commitment and tenacity for the APC campaigns,” the governor said, assuring that APC would record resounding success in all elections next year. 

The rally was attended by the wives of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, governors of Lagos, Cross Rivers, Kogi, Gombe, Plateau and Yobe states as well as women from the six northeast states of Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba and Yobe.
