Executive Vice Chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) Mohammed Haruna, Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) George Moghalu and Chairman, Save-a-Life Group, Richard Okoye, who all won award for Public Service at this year’s Sun Awards ceremony, said that they were very happy for the honour and recognition.

Moghalu, who appreciated his family and staff for the support given him, stated:

“I want to sincerely appreciate the board and management of The Sun for this award. I also want to thank my wife for her support and my staff at NIWA for their immense effort and encouragement. This is a call for greater responsibility and by the grace of God, we would build on what we have done before that made it possible for us to be recognised.”

Also speaking, Haruna expressed appreciation to The Sun, his family and his staff for their effort in ensuring his success, saying: “I greatly appreciate my family and staff for their encouragement and I thank The Sun for the award and I believe it will spur me to do more.”

Okoye also expressed appreciation to The Sun for the award and said at the appropriate time, he will be able to say in detail the achievements they have recorded in the health sector.

“We have been able to develop solution in primary health care delivery and I want to thank God for giving us so much progress in the health sector. I want to thank The Sun for the award and it is an encouragement to do more,” he said.
