 Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai, has said that the present administration in the state has tackled many challenges it inherited from the past administration especially in the area security of lives and properties.

  Dabai noted that  from the inception of the administration, the state government had made a visible progress in tackling  the challenges of creating enabling environment in the state.

   The deputy governor, who stated this while speaking with journalists at Sir Ahmadu International Airport, Birnin-Kebbi, after  his arrival from the lesser hajj, said that the challenges comprised issues of  peace and security, and how to ensure delivery of public services in the area of health, education agriculture, water supply, rural development, roads and other socio-economic  areas touching the lives of the people.

According to him, “As you can see, we just spent two years and we have made tremendous changes and that is why you see the  opposition defected to the APC, no more opposition parties in the state, we are all one for the betterment and progress of our state,” he added.
Dabai while speaking on agriculture scored the administration very high saying ” on the agriculture, it has turn everybody to be self employed .
,” It has made a significance impact on the peoples lives most especially the rice farming people. We don’t need to buy foreign rice now, we produce rice more than before.”

   The Deputy Governor urged all supporters of All Progressive Congress ( APC)  and the people of the state to come e-masses and vote for the party in the July 15,2017 local government election to enable the ruling party to continue with its good agenda.
