Insists ‘real’ change is imminent

From WOLE BALOGUN, Ado-Ekiti

Fiery cleric and General Overseer of Clear Revelation Ministry, Ibadan, Oyo State, Apostle Jeremiah Adeyeye, has opened up again. He said Nigerians should expect change very soon.

He spoke with Daily Sun on this and other issues.

Do you see the current government taking Nigeria out of the woods?

They are already confused and the government lacks direction. I want to mention the names of some eminent people and what they can do to salvage the nation: (Ex-president Olusegun) Obasanjo, (Senator Bola) Tinubu, Sultan of Sokoto, Emir of Kano, Ooni of Ife, (Senate President) Bukola Saraki, (Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu) Dogara, (General Ibrahim) Babangida, (General Abubakar) Abdulsalami and (General Yakubu) Gowon. All these people except the Ooni must put heads together if they don’t want Nigeria to disintergrate. There are some deceptions going on now about this government and that must stop if Nigeria would not break up before 2019.

The Lord revealed to me that there are some things already made secret in this country. The Lord said some eminent personalities who they call the cabal have been hiding some very important truths in government. The Lord said I should warn them that if they fail to reveal these truths, it would lead to a very serious tragedy.

Although God did not mention the Sultan and Emir of Kano to me, but I mentioned their names because I perceive in my mind that they can talk to the northerners and make them to listen and work towards the unity of Nigeria. This time around they must forget about religion and work towards the oneness of Nigeria.

There are terrible things ahead in fact, many of those people who have chosen to rule Nigeria with dishonesty may not see January 2018. I want to warn Saraki to be very careful. Ooni of Ife needs serious prayers so that he may stay long on the throne.

Right now, government is deceiving the people by hiding the truth. When this backfires, many of them would lose their electoral value. Nigerians should pray fervently as the end of all these deceptions would be disastrous. We may lose democracy with Buhari in power.

This is not the first time I have been telling government God’s mind about them. During the time of the late General Sani Abacha. I warned him that he had less than 21 days to live. He did not listen and it happened the way I said it. I said the late Umoru Yar’Adua would not finish his tenure and people called me names. I have said it and saying again, Buhari would not complete his tenure. I warned Obasanjo against holding the 2007 elections but he failed to listen. The consequences of that action are what we are facing now.

Let me reveal something to you. Not because he is dead, I actually warned Senator Isiaka Adeleke from moving to the All Progressives Congress (APC). I met him in his house in Ede with some politicians shortly before the 2015 elections. Those present at the meeting included Mr. Sefiu Babatunde and Prince Debowale Ayeni from Ila-Orangun. I told him not to go to APC because the PDP refused to give him its governorship ticket.

I said what God told me was that: “The road to APC is short.” I said he could be governor on the platform of any party except APC. That he if he contested under any other party he would win. I suggested Accord Party and event linked him up with Senator Rashidi Ladoja, but he refused to pick Ladoja’s call.

The APC promised him senatorial ticket, he accepted and moved there. If he looks back now, he will certainly remember what I told him. Many of them know me but they cannot come to me because I stand for the truth and would tell them the truth.

You once said we would have a change of guards at the Aso Villa, Abuja, before 2019, do you still stand by this?

A prophet speaks in parables. Whether you believe it or not, very soon Osinbajo will become substantive President. President Muhammadu Buhari may not finish his tenure.

Has God shown a new party emerging apart from APC and PDP for 2019?

I told them in 2013 that former president Goodluck Jonathan would be the last PDP president. I am saying it now that the APC and PDP would carry another names soon. They would not get anywhere reasonable unless they changed their identity. APC would have emerged the best party for the country if they had stood for truth. The party only thrives in deceiving Nigerians. For the PDP, unhealthy rivalry among the party bigwigs is destroying the party.

In 2011, I advised government to convene a sovereign national conference but government did not listen. In 2013, I made a call for the national conference again. That was when Jonathan considered it. If he had convened that conference in 2011, he would have implemented it and solved Nigeria’s problems once and for all.

The sentimentality and deceit of the present administration would not allow it to implement the recommendation of that conference. You will soon see the consequences of this Nigeria would break into three pieces soon. It is not my wish for the country to break but with what the government is doing now, that may become inevitable.

God has a great purpose for this nation as a united whole. But with all these sectional wars, herdsmen, Boko Haram and all that, God is angry with this country. I just pray that the Lord would have mercy on us.

If Buhari’ truly loves Nigeria, I see no reason he should not implement the recommendations of the last national conference. This is because that conference gave good representations to all the regions and ethnic nationalities. They did their best and gave the best recommendations for all regions and ethnic nationalities. The era of being power drunk is over we are now in a new, more egalitarian era.

What would you like to say about the 2018 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State?

Governor Ayodele Fayose is for now the lonely opposition voice on the side of the masses. He has opened the eyes of so many people but he is not getting commendation for it. People may not like the way he is playing the opposition but he is doing it his own way. If he continues to say the truth and does not compromise as he once did, he would have a future in Project Nigeria.

Ekiti State is quite different from others. If they decide today not to vote for PDP nobody can buy them to do otherwise. But as it is now, it is wherever Fayose is going that they would go. This is not what God has told me but what I have come to accept. If Fayose continues with the way he is doing and do better, Ekiti people will continue to support him.

I have never even met Fayose although I am from the state. I met Jonathan only once in 2013 and I didn’t get anything from him. Personally, I see Jonathan as a good leader who truly loves this country. That was why he could concede defeat and hand over power when he did and that gave us peace and stability. With that patriotic act, he has written his name in gold in the annals of Nigerian history and he would reap the good fruits in future.
