One of Nigeria’s talented Disc Jockey, Hammed Abiodun Oyenuga popularly known as Dj Bimmer has said one of thechallenges, himself and his colleagues face in the industry is that, they are been underpaid. Speaking exclusively with Sun, Bimmer while citing the way Deejays are been treated in international countries, urge Nigerians to step up prices been offered to Deejay.

“To be honest with you, one of my frustrations about being a Dj here in Nigeria is that, we are been treated like nothing. And the thing is that in my estimation, about 70 percent of Nigerians have respect for Djs, but even with that, as a Dj, sometimes Nigerians under-price our services. Being a Dj is beyond changing of songs. Dj equipment are expensive and we shouldn’t be priced like you are pricing tomato in a market. Outside Nigeria, DJs are treated like gods.” He noted.

However, he stressed that his creative instinct has continuously distinguished him in the industry while noting that his fans should watch out for more of his mastery and mix of music with the art of disc jockeying. Bimmer who described himself as a goal getter and someone who loves  punctuality in every areas, also said most people see’s him as threat to many DJ’s because his got everything it takes to turn the music game around and still exploring more on doing that and not stopping until he achieves the climax.

On What motivate him and what it’s take to get him played at an event; “Seeing everyone grooving to good music makes me put up a good playlist and know what songs to play when there’s a gig and mostly when am giving playlists by clients, i play what they want, because their satisfaction is my motivation and making sure I keep the dance hall alive.”. He assured.

“This 2021, I will be working with a few music starts, such as Davido, Wizkid, Runtown, Teni, Tiwa Savage,  FireBoy, JoeBoy, Bella ShmurDa and Barry Jhay. These artist continue to bring more creativity to Nigeria’s entertainment industry,  and even to the art of disc jockey. I’m dropping a new Afro mixtape  In the coming days and Its going to be on so many Music Download Platform. Born in the 90s, Dj Bimmer who is a native of Ode Remo, in Ogun State, Nigeria, had his primary and secondary education in Ibadan, Oyo state and proceeded to study mechanical Engineering in a Prestigious University in South Africa.
