John Fury has said Tyson Fury made the decision to come out of retirement because he felt like his life was ‘falling to pieces without boxing’.

The Gypsy King announced he would be retiring from the sport after knocking out his British rival Dillian Whyte in April. However, Tyson has fluctuated in and out the retirement ever since.

John has now revealed in an exclusive interview with Sportsmail that the Gypsy King came to him and said he felt like his life was ‘crumbling by the second’ after hanging up his gloves.

Speaking to Sportsmail, via Freebets.com, John said Tyson decided to return to the ring after ‘smelling the gloves in the gym’ and realising he had more to give to the sport.

John laughed: ‘Tyson has been in and out of retirement since he turned pro. Aged 15, years ago. He will fall out with boxing for a week and then he loves it again.

‘He loves boxing. Tyson has got nothing else without boxing. He loves the game so much. He said to me, ‘I was retired for four weeks and my life has fallen to pieces. I can feel my life crumbling’. He said ‘my life was crumbling by the second’.
