To boost creativity and encourage the youths to develop their talents, Superior Pharmaceuticals Limited, makers of Sumether-plus malaria drug, has rewarded three young Nigerians with cash prizes as finalists in an anti-malaria theme song contest for the product.

Davon Praise from Abuja clinched the grand prize award of N350,000 while Obed Chima and Emmanuel Davidson emerged first runners-up and went home with consolation cash prizes.

In his address delivered at the award ceremony held in Lagos, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Ike Okeke, said the theme song challenge was designed to engage young men and women in their healthcare and promote wellness and malaria awareness among Nigerians. He said they also designed the contest to encourage young citizens to be creative, develop themselves and their God-given talents.

The company’s boss, who said they are committed to being an agent of change in the healthcare market, described Superior Pharmaceuticals as an indigenous company with the sole purpose of providing life-saving and affordable medications to the citizens.
