The Head, Foreign Investment Network (FIN) Oil & Gas, a London based FDI company focused on Oil & Gas Projects for developing economies, Wofai Samuel, has been elected as the Communications Chair for the prestigious United States Government Exchange Alumni Association in Nigeria – YALI.
The swearing-in ceremony which held on January 4th 2021, officially marked the beginning of Wofai Samuel’s first day in office as the 4th Communications Chair.
The Young African Leaders Initiative; YALI,  is U.S. President Barack Obama’s Government’s signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders and was launched to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across sub-Saharan Africa.
Wofai Samuel, being a fellow, delivered a convincing victory at the pools and emerged as winner with the highest invalid votes cast, highest valid votes cast and the highest overall votes cast with a sterling margin through all positions in the 2021 National Elections.
Addressing pressmen, She expressed happiness at being honored by the trust and confidence the Nigerian Youths placed in her while adding that effective  communications is a vital tool in  accomplishing leadership and career goals.
“I will stand by the manifesto with which I was voted into this office with and I urge every single one of you to hold me accountable. It is my first elective office and I am beyond honored for this opportunity to serve my country and Africa”, Wofai said.
The International Communication expert  added that she will work with every single person on the platform as their voices, opinions, advice, suggestions will be considered ahead of any deliberation between the United States, other countries in Africa especially Nigeria.
Recall that in 2020, Wofai was profiled as a result-oriented professional with an objective to shaping the future of African continent on Forbes Africa.

Also elected was Olatunde Temitayo, the Speaker Bureau Chair, who will be working closely with the office of the Communications Chair.
