RASHIDI Yekini Foundation will today in Ibadan celebrate the fourth anniversary of the late soccer legend with the donation of kits to two secondary schools, in a bid to promote the growth of grassroots football. A member of the Foundation, Jibril Mohammed, disclosed yesterday that Ibadan Grammar School, Molete and Methodist High School, Challenge will get the kits and also play a friendly in honor of the late former African Football of the Year.
“The Foundation will continue to identify and support grassroots sport development, which is one of the unfulfilled dream of Late Rasidi Yekini. As part of the fourth anniversary, we are doling out soccer kits to two school, Ibadan Grammar School, Molete and Methodist High School, Challenge. The two schools will also at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba by 3pm,” Mohammed said.
