The Gubernatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State, Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi has donated N10Million to Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Niger State with an appeal to the Christian body to pray for the success of the forthcoming general elections in the state and the country in general.
The N10million donation, he said was to support the Christian to enable it reach out to Christian brothers and sisters in the state as they celebrate the Christmas and New year which signified the birth of Jesus Christ.
He said the donation had become necessary “as our Christians brothers and sisters celebrate this year’s festival at a very difficult economic reality in the country’s history”.
While urging Christians to pray for the success of the 2023 elections, the Gubernatorial candidate admonished all Christians in the state to be peaceful, law abiding, assuring them that PDP administration in 2023 at all levels of government will address the mirage of challenges facing the country.
He therefore appealed to Christians in the state to ensure they vote for PDP in the next elections, so as to correct the last seven and half years of hunger and Insecurity in the land, adding that “PDP administration in the state will ensure that the current Insecurity in the state is addressed”.
The gubernatorial candidate had made a similar donations to the organization of the Eid-Maulud in Minna and several other development projects like electricity and water supply in several rural communities across the state.
