Igbo Patriotic Forum (IPF) has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the last Saturday presidential and national assembly poll.

While acknowledging the achievements of the federal government thus far, spokesman of IPF, Mazi Anthony Anyim, called on other Nigeria leaders to join hands with President Buhari in advancing the cause of Nigeria. He urged the leadership of the APC to zone the position of Senate Presidency  to the South East, adding that Ndigbo had been marginalized by previous administrations. In a statement issued on Friday, the IPF called on Igbo sons and daughter s to support the President Buhari-led government, stressing that the future of Nigeria is bright under the current administration.

He said, “with the results of the February 23, 2019 presidential and national assembly elections, it is glaring that President Buhari is popular and well accepted by the people regardless of party affiliation.

“The votes polled by the President in the 2019 election in the South East is more than what he scored in 2015. The President has executed numerous projects in the South East than previous administrations.  We appeal to the top echelon of the APC to consider the South East for the position of senate President. The President is from the North and the Vice President is from the West. In the spirit of patriotism, Ndigbo should be considered for Senate President. Collectively, all ethnic groups must work together for the sake of national development.”

The forum while admonishing former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to accept defeat in good faith, stressed that politics is not a do-or-die affair, adding that the collective interest of Nigerians should be paramount.

They have started again. Eating their cake and still wanting to have it. How many senators do you have in South East? Go and tell Atiku to give you senate president

This so called Igbo Patriotic Forum ( IPF), is indeed a rogue Organization that neither represents nor speaks for us Ndigbo.
True Igbo Patriots are wont to dissociate themselve from that Igbophobe,
Mallam Muhammadu Buhari, his cahoots, cohorts and also from the members of his Axis of Evil Party, the so called APC.
All Igbo members of Buhari’s APC Party are of course, without an exception,
enemies amongst us Ndigbo. They are all traitors devoid of Enyimba Spirit.
Whoever told those Igbo Reprobates , Quislings and Dimwitted Idiots that it is the prerogative of that Fulani rogue President , Mallam Muhammadu Buhari to name a Senate President, must be quite ignorant of our system of Government.
